The government of the Russian Federation has resolved to change the following holidays in 2008 for the purpose of rationalizing the use of workdays and non-working holidays:

Sunday, May 4 will be a working day; Friday, May 2 will be a day off;

Saturday, June 7 will be a working day; Friday, June 13 will be a day off;

Saturday, November 1 will be a working day; Monday, November 3 will be a day off;

The corresponding decree, number 512, was signed by Mikhail Fradkov on August 11, 2007.
