On the occasion of our fifth anniversary, June 3, 2005, we hosted a seminar on the very pertinent theme of taxation of the income of individual and legal entities.

The seminar was framed by a discussion of all relevant aspects of The Taxation Code of the Russian Federation, including its latest changes. In addition to the experts of our company, presenters from the Tax Authorities and from the State Finance Academy of the Russian Federation were also invited.  Attendees received full recommendations on tax deductions and payment as pertains foreign companies and foreign residents. The presenters informed their audience about the formation of the tax base, tax deductions, and, together with the tax inspectors analyzed some common mistakes made in deducting and/or paying taxes.  Many common mistakes made by accountants in paying or deducting taxes were discussed by presenting simple, concrete situations.

Due to the overwhelmingly positive response received by the seminar and its presenters, as well as to continue to keep ourselves and our clients abreast of such pertinent, interesting issues, we are planning a similar seminar which will include more information on accounting and finances themes.
