Many entrepreneurs are facing new problems as a result of the changes in the legislation on LLCs and the subsequent re-registration. The business seminar held by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce on Dec. 2, 2009 shed some light on many of the problems. Participants discussed registration procedures in connection to disposal of LLC shares, changing an address, and changing of a company’s general director. Participants also discussed the issues of maintaining a list of company participants, as well as the complexity of concluding and fulfilling agreements among participants regarding the enforcement of one’s rights (an analogue would be the Western model of a shareholder agreement).
