Most "raiders" are interested primarily in a firm's real estate. But it doesn’t mean that smaller companies are out of danger. A small company may be taken over by large holding as part a chain of takeovers towards greater goal. Raiders also sometimes strike to grab ownership of undiscovered brands that might rise in value in the future. Raiders' main goal is to obtain control over the company itself or its assets.
