By November tax authorities will receive a new tool for the identification of dishonest taxpayers: tax amounts of each company will be compared to the average index-numbers for this industry sector. Though, at this time, only for organizations of the banking sector, trade industry and machinery-producing industry.

Calculations of the index-numbers for the three sectors will be completed by independent economists, winners of competitive tender organized by Federal Tax Service, according to the order signed recently by the head of FTS Michael Mokretsov. An amount of 2.1 million rubles will be appropriated for research purposes for each industry.

It is worth remembering that starting this year FTS is already paying special attention to organizations with salaries under the average for the industry level.
