Labor News: Alinga Salary Review   Tax Service Investigates "Grey" Payroll Schemes	Topic of the Day: Changes to Labor Code of the RF A new bill, recently signed by President Putin, will come into force on October 6, 2006. The bill greatly alters the current Labor Code, increasing fines and establishing prison sentences for those in violation and extending the code to cover individual businessmen. Alinga's HR Solutions Director Tatyana Terehova recounts the major changes and implications in this new article.

Legal News: Registration of Legal Entities to Take at Least Five Days   "Liberalizing" the Tax Administration	Featured Article: Foreigner's Working Rights in the RF Major changes are to be enacted to the rights and responsibilities of foreigners working in the Russian Federation. A simplified registration process for all foreigners will be implemented.  For those foreigners who may visit the Russian fedeartion without a visa (mostly those workers from the CIS), a simplified work permit process will be introduced and quotas for permits will be done away with.  There are also simplified hiring procedures for these workers now.  Read more in this new article.
