Welcome from Alinga!
Russia is settled back down to work again after the long holidays. This includes, of course, members of the State Duma, who are now busy considering and passing new legislation that continues Russia's perpetual tax changes and the nearly annual "reforms" that are made to visas and registration for foreigners. As might be expected, we've seen a surge in the amount of interesting news for this month. We've concentrated on translating those articles that would be of interest specifically to managers and foreigner employees. As usual, the Russian version of this newsletter contains much more specific news on specific tax and accounting news. Check back next month for a new quarterly analytical edition, focused on the Russian IT sector!
