Nezavisimaya Gazeta writes that Russians will soon be able to hire foreign workers. Konstantin Romodanovsky, Director of Federal Immigration, stated this during the opening of the Director’s Conference on the Immigration Politics of the Commonwealth of the Independent States (CIS).

The Director of Federal Immigration added that the proposed law would allow citizens to purchase patents to hire foreign workers from the CIS. “For example, not every person is able to hire a firm and spend a large sum of money to construct a dacha. Many only want to hire one or two people, and for this reason, the system of payable patents will be intriguing, useful, favorable, and needed,” explained Mr. Romodanovsky.
