FSB's PR Body Vows To Promptly Answer Questions Via Web

 13.02.09
Any Russian can ask the Federal Security Service (FSB) a question through the website of the FSB Public Relations Council, and receive an answer, the Council's chairman said.
"In order to improve our standards of work with inquiries from the public, we decided recently to set up a permanent Internet Reception Office for the Public Relations Council. It will enable both individuals and associations to not only promptly contact Council members but also receive answers from them online," Vasily Titov told Interfax.
The site would undergo modernizations, he said.
"It has been and remains the priority of the Council to ensure constructive interaction between the Federal Security Service and the public, to build confidence among Russians in the security authorities, and to provide guarantees of public control of the activities of the special services to check whether they respect the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens," Titov said.
