Harm From Computers Reduces Medical Costs

Many workers sit in front of their computers everyday – and harm their health. Tax officials do not agree with this statement and do not allow workers to deduct the cost of medical exams taken because of the harm their computers can bring.
However, the court defended workers' health. The main argument of the taxpayer was that his profession, advertising, was inconceivable without the use of computers. The court acknowledged that the profession involves work that can be hard on the eyes and that much of the office equipment involved could adversely affect the health of workers (Resolution of the Federal Arbitrary Court of Moscow District # KA-A40/9241-08 from October 1, 2008)
