Russia's Tax Service has announced that tax schemes seem to be on the decline. Less back taxes are being demanded by the agency on the basis of having discovered a tax scheme in use.

All the same, most companies are advised to always check the trustworthiness of contractors. Also, a company should employ more than just a general director and head accountant. "Questionable contractors" and such small staff numbers can still raise the suspicion of the tax authorities.
