July, 4 2005 Vladimir Putin approved a new law which gives the Tax Authorities the right to liquidate companies.
 06.07.05 More than 1.5 million companies could be affected. The president has thus allowed the Tax Authorities to except from “The Registry of Legal Entities” businesses that have not tendered documents to the Tax Authorities for more than year and have not used at list one of their accounts during the same period. Experts support the new law in theory, but they warn that honest people could fall “victim” to the Tax Authorities.
