On July 4th, deputies of the State Duma passed an amendment to the law on the migration recording of foreign citizens and persons without citizenship. It is now awaiting action from the Federation Council. This amendment would accelerate the migration recording process of foreign workers.

The amendment would allow hotel administration to verify that the foreign worker has been counted by the migration record, by marking it in the detachable part of the registration form. At the present moment only organs of the migration census and post offices are allowed to do so.
