A poll carried out by the research center of the Internet recruiting portal “SuperJob.ru” revealed that 35% of Russian companies are planning to give their employees year-end bonuses. The research center polled 500 representatives from Russian organizations and businesses.

“At the end of the year, 15% of companies will give monetary bonuses to all of their employees, while one-fifth of these companies (20%) are planning to give bonuses only to selected employees,” the researchers explained. However, the number of those receiving bonuses could still increase, since 28% of employers have not yet decided whether they will pay out bonuses this year. Twenty-seven percent of companies, where giving out bonuses is not a common practice, are offering different rewards, such as adding to employees’ benefit packages by expanding medical insurance policies.

Only 10% of the companies surveyed decided not to give out year-end bonuses at all this year, citing financial difficulties due to the economic crisis.
