“There is no draft against division of business” – explained high-ranking MinFin official to the “Uchet. Nalogi. Pravo” newspaper and strongly recommended to bring it to all readers’ attention.

According to the official, an idea to jointly inspect organizations which share same founders had been discussed. The idea was part of ongoing efforts to keep businesses from illegally transferring pieces of itself to simplified taxation. However, after long discussion, officials decided against the idea, as it would be simple to avoid the inspections by adding an independent founder to the new company. 

The law currently under consideration is much more liberal. More types of businesses that would be eligible for simplified taxation. It would also allow the management of companies using simplified taxation system to employ close relatives.

Officials of the Ministry of Finance plan to submit a completed draft to the State Duma by fall.
