As of September 1, the minimum wage in Moscow is now 7,650 rubles. This figure was arrived at and agreed upon by officials, labor unions and organizations, and employers. Originally, all sides had agreed that the minimum wage would be raised to between 6,800 and 7,500 rubles. However, they then decided to raise it another 150 rubles above the previous maximum.
