Moscow Region Lowers Migrant Workers Quota By 20%

In near future, authorities in the Moscow Region intend to decrease migrant workers quota by 20%, as was announced by Victor Rushev, the head of regional Department of Labor and Social Issues. He explained that this measure was initiated by deputies of the regional Duma as an attempt to provide additional job opportunities for residents of Moscow region.
It is worth remembering that recently Michael Solomentsev, head of Committee on Inter-regional communications and national policies, suggested charging additional fees from employers using foreign workers.
