Beginning January 1, 2010, the minimum monthly wage in Moscow will increase to 9,500 rubles, according to the Public Affairs Committee. However, this will not be the only minimum wage increase next year: according to the accounting magazine “Glavbukh,” the there are plans to raise the minimum wage again starting May 1, 2010, to 10,100 rubles per month.
