A new method for calculating average pay has been established by Decree of the RF government # 922 signed on December 24, 2007. Decree # 213 from April 11, 2003 ceased to be in force.

The new method calls for average daily earnings from vacation allowances (accounted in calendar days) and for compensation paid for unused vacation time to be calculated by dividing the salary amount of the accounting period by 12 and dividing by the average monthly number of calendar days (29.4).

The document came into force starting January 6, 2007.
