Russia's Duma is considering a bill that would set the maximum limits for benefits to be paid in 2009-2011 for leave taken for reasons of disability, pregnancy, or the birth of a child.

Disability benefits for 2009 would be limited to 18,720 rubles. For 2010, they would be limited to 20,030 rubles, and for 2011, to 21,390 rubles.

Maximum benefits paid to those taking leave in 2009 for pregnancy or the birth of a child would be 25,390 rubles, in 2010, 27,170 rubles, and in 2011, 29,020 rubles.
