By decree # 80 from February 16, 2008 the government of the RF approved regulations on the licensing for auditing services. Concerned are licensing procedures for auditing services performed by legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.

Licensing procedures are now to be carried out by the Ministry of Finance of the RF. The auditing license is issued for five years. The term of the license may be extended based on a written application of the licensee, submitted in the prescribed order.
