The number of companies using simplified taxation may grow. Duma deputes have prepared a draft bill allowing small businesses to switch to the simplified taxation system on the condition that gross sales revenue during nine months of the previous year did not exceed 45 million rubles (currently – 15 million rubles).

The draft also suggests that the threshold of yearly income after which businesses may no longer use the simplified taxation system be increased three times from 20 million to 60 million rubles.
