Tax Officers In Moscow Search For Firms Which Used The Crisis To Their Advantage

A poll of Moscow's tax inspectors has shown that they adjusted their methods in light of the crisis. When checking accounts for 9 months, the inspectors intend primarily to recognize which companies were most affected by the crisis (for example, in the construction or real estate market), and which deliberately underestimated their profit and salary taxes.
The special investigatory commissions will also adjust their work. Struggling firms received invitations from the tax officers before the crisis, but now companies that have markedly decreased taxable income (even if profit remains) are under the close observation of the tax officers.
