Following an amendment
of the Civil Code on December 29th 2021, the provisions of information about the cancellation of powers of attorney have been changed.

Reminder: a register for notarized powers of attorney already exists
Please be reminded, that the person who issued the power of attorney and subsequently cancels it, is obliged to notify the person to whom the power of attorney was issued, as well as interested parties known to him. To notify third parties, it is now sufficient to publish such information in the register. As a result, the notification procedure is shortened to one day.
The register is free and available to everyone.
The two online registers are useful instrument to make checks when dealing with a new counterparty acting on the basis of a power of attorney.
